a) DOWN AND FEATHER

Peuterey's light and extra-soft down and feather fillings combine an outstanding sensory quality with high-level technical performance. By regulating the body temperature based on the outside temperature, they provide greater natural comfort and a pleasant feeling of well-being under any condition. Peuterey’s fillings are RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certified, and manufactured according to current health and hygiene standards, with no harmful substances. By being hypo-allergenic, completely traceable, and animal-cruelty-free, the comfort they provide is ethical and safe.

b) SYNTHETIC PADDING

The soft recycled polyester feather is the first real alternative to goose down. It comprises small and silky polyester fibre filaments, combined with one another to create an insulating layer that mimics the warmth, lightness, softness and compressibility of natural down. The special mix of water-resistant fibres provides excellent insulation, weather protection, and packability.

PFC FREE

PFC are fluoride and carbon-based compounds, characterised by exceptional water and oil repellency characteristics, which made them widely popular for outdoor apparel production over the years. Peuterey has chosen to respect the environment, and to use equally performing yet completely sustainable materials, such as chemical substances that pose no harm to human health or the environment.

FUR POLICY

Peuterey employs premium fur. This kind of fur is completely traceable and comes from farms that comply with current regulations.

  • Fox
  • Lapin
  • Shearling

Peuterey employs Sagafur-certified fur. This voluntary labelling system was established by Finnish breeders in 1954, to help consumers track their furs’ quality and provenance. Sagafurs ensures that all fur comes from a country with laws and regulations protecting animal welfare, and certifying the hygiene standards..

Peuterey’s down and feather fillings are manufactured according to current health and hygiene standards, with no harmful substances. They are hypo-allergenic, completely traceable, and animal-cruelty-free.

(RDS)

GRS (GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDARD)

The GRS (Global Recycled Standard) Certification attests to the use of recycled materials, verified and tracked along their entire production chain. This acknowledgement strengthens our commitment to achieve a more sustainable and conscious quality.

RWS (RESPONSIBLE WOOL STANDARD)

The RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) Certification ensures that wool comes from farms that comply with animal welfare practices, and manage the territory responsibly. It represents a concrete commitment to source ethical, transparent and high-quality raw materials, combining excellence and a sense of responsibility.
