RECYCLED DOWN FEATHERS
The recycled down feathers are a mix of recycled goose and duck down 600 or 700 fill power, coming from pillows, duvets and other used items that can no longer be sold. These feathers, if they were not reused, would end up in our landfills which would expand dramatically.
DOODLE
The inspiration from doodle art results in bold and decisive graphic patterns on garments belonging to the FW / 2020 collection. Some jackets have allover prints, while others, reversible, have prints on one side and plain color on the other.
WIND RESISTANT
A wind resistant fabric protects from high wind. All Peuterey wind resistant outerwear pieces are breathable, too.
WATER REPELLENT
A fabric is water repellent after special treatments to make it resist water: the drops of water do not remain on the fabric, but slip away. Water-repellent fabrics have a certain degree of porosity so they are permeable to air and water vapor. They allow the passage of water when the hydrostatic pressure is high (for example during heavy rain).
